A
total of 18 Spanish companies are taking part in BROADCASTASIA
/ COMMUNICASIA 2007 with a Spanish Institute for Foreign
Trade, ICEX-supported Pavilion, bringing the total area
ocuppied by Spanish exhibitors of 300m2, scattered
through Pavilions 7 (BROADCASTASIA) and 3, 5 (COMMUNICASIA).
The
Broadcast Spanish exhibitors will showcase their latest
technologies, innovative
products and solutions related on the whole Broadcast sector.
These companies feed a present with a forward-lookig vocation
whose target is to develop our society’s well-being as much
as possible. Efficiency and productivity are conditioning the
growth of the Spanish economy as a whole, which stands above
the european average.
Spanish
industry’s potential is directed linked to its firm
commitment to investment in research, development and
innovation, which makes it a benchmark of Europe characterized
in terms of quality and innovation. The drive of our
technological capacity, creativity and experience, allow it to
position ourselves as an international strategic ally capapble
of extending and applying the benefits of these technologies
wherever they are needed.

Broadcast Spanish companies are highly specialized in turn-key
projects, with equipments and solutions customized to the
client’s requirements: large airport projects in Africa and
Latinamerica, TV monitors for big European channels, TV
stations in China, TV signal reception and distribution
equipment in China and Arab countries, test and measurement
instruments for TV networks in China, …, just to mention a
few.
Spain
is at the Forefront of DTT. Is the first country to launch
digital and high-definition TV equipment using own technology
onto the global marketplace. It is the country which boasts
the most highly-developed digital terrestrial TV transmittance
network worldwide with over 80% coverage and fully fitted with
Spanish equipment. Spanish industry has the capacity to offer
any type of product or service to companies which have to
develop DTT in their countries and have countless equipment in
Asia, South America and Europe.
